Most of what I do relates, directly or indirectly, to my family’s Holocaust history.

Atop this page is the identification card of my great-uncle Leopold Müller. He was deported from the Bavarian town of Bad Kissingen and murdered in Poland in 1942. I found the card in his Gestapo file in Wuerzburg, Germany. Along with it I found something more personal and moving. I tell the story of that discovery in this short video from a stortytelling showcase in Durham, North Carolina.

Holocaust Education

I’m the Academic Director at the Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE), which uses Holocaust history to enrich the ethical development of young professionals.
